3 By purchasing and playing a bingo game, the player is subject to the rules posted on the Heart & Stroke TV Bingo website. These rules are required by Nova Scotia Gaming and may be updated from time to time.
4 Bingo packages for the current week’s game will be available until 7 PM on the evening of the broadcast on CTV2.
Next week's bingo cards will be available for purchase following the bingo broadcast.
5 All bingo paper is controlled by serial numbers, colours, and verification codes. Bingo card(s) must match the colour and serial number in play that night. The caller will identify the serial number(s) at the start of the broadcast on CTV2.
6 The caller will announce all prizes to players prior to the commencement of each game. The bingo game pattern will be displayed on the TV screen.
7 The caller shall display each ball to the players as it is generated at random by the bingo equipment. There will be a minimum of 12 seconds between balls called by the caller.
8 The caller must announce the bingo ball for it to be valid and in play. The caller will announce the number on the ball twice and, it will be displayed on the bingo board.
9 Players must have all required personal information ready when calling in to verify a bingo:
The caller will announce all prizes before the start of each game. The bingo game pattern will be displayed on the bingo board.
10 The first player to call in a winning card may not necessarily be the official prize winner. To comply with Nova Scotia Gaming Control Regulations for media bingo (TV/Radio) the winner(s) of all games shall be the player (or players) who completes the game pattern in the fewest numbers of balls called.
11 The bingo game will be stopped when the first potential winner(s) have called in and their card has been verified. No further bingo balls shall be called.
A telephone operator will verify cards for 30 minutes after the completion of the telecast (until 8:30 PM AST).
12 Prizes will be issued via Canada Post mail 3-5 days after winning card verification. Prizes paid out via cheque may be subject to additional processing and delays (e.g., with Canada Post delivery times).
13 To be verified, the potential winning bingo card must be legible and filled out with the applicable game pattern.
The winning bingo card must be *emailed as a photo to bingowinner@heartandstroke.ca with the date and winner's name in the subject line.

14 In the event of a media interruption or the TV bingo is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, do not discard your bingo cards. An announcement will be made with respect to how to play those cards within 14 days on the following channels:
15 Heart & Stroke and its partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards. Heart & Stroke is not responsible for local power outages and the called numbers will be available by calling the customer care number at 1-844-879-0999 at 8pm. There are no refunds or exchanges for unused Bingo card(s).
16 Heart & Stroke NS TV Bingo game numbers are only available live on CTV2 and will not be posted online following the game.
17 Winners' first name, last initial, town and purchase location will be posted on our website and social media once verified. These details may be shared by the bingo caller during future live shows.
18 Declared winning card(s) must be received (physical card or via emailed picture) by Heart & Stroke within 90 days of the event. After 90 days, the card(s) will be considered forfeit.
19 Members of Heart & Stroke staff, Bell Media staff, production staff and other helpers, including the caller and checkers working the bingo broadcast, are prohibited from playing Heart & Stroke TV Bingo.
20 To adhere to provincial regulations, no bingo shall operate on Labour Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Good Friday or Easter Sunday.

The cards’ serial numbers are used for one night only and cannot be traded in for another night’s TV Bingo.
Exception: If TV Bingo is canceled, unused cards remain valid and instructions on how to play them will be made available.
We aim to notify our winners as soon as possible, but it may take up to 48 hours of the Bingo game concluding if there is an increased call volume.
Rest assured, if you called into our Bingo Winners’ Hotline (1-833-642-4646) and spoke with someone, we will call players back to confirm if your card is a winner or not.
A telephone operator will take calls for 30 minutes after the completion of the telecast, until 8:30 PM AST.
If there is more than one winner, the prize will be divided into equal shares amongst the winners.

$10 for one envelope, which includes all our games: five (5) sheets of three (3) faces, for a total of five (5) bingo games per week.
Heart & Stroke TV Bingo cards are available at all Circle K locations across Nova Scotia as well as participating PharmaChoice stores.
In HRM, cards are also available at the lottery booths in Mic Mac Mall, Halifax Shopping Centre, Scotia Square as well as the Dartmouth Seniors Service Centre.
